For Snorpy and Chandlo, who are the canon couple, I absolutely adore them in-game! I love how devoted to each other they are, even if they don't go about things in the best way, trying so hard to protect each other that they get in their own way a little. But they still so obviously love each other and try their best to be good for each other! I also love how the game plays with the trope of "didn't know they were dating," except it's that they kissed during an outing and then moved in together and apparently kept kissing (and maybe more) and Snorpy just got so in his own head because they never said they loved each other and he can't deal with ambiguity, so Chandlo assumed they were dating for years and Snorpy thought they were "roommates with benefits" while being 100% in love. Disasters. But very sweet disasters!

For Floofty and Snorpy, holy shit I love so much about them. They start off the canon bitterly estranged! They disparage each other but still deeply respect each other and care so much! Snorpy rushes in to keep Floofty dying to their own research, which prompts another fight where Snorpy wants them to value their life (complete with a "my work is what's important" "YOU are important!" argument, with Snorpy dropping "despite everything I still care about you!" on top of that) and they insult him over it! Then they have to admit more privately that they didn't mean any insult they said and they're a coward! ...Also just as an aside, pretty sure it's implied that Snorpy's at least tried to put a tracker on them, lmao. By the end of canon, they're both really trying to reconnect and fix their relationship, and they obviously want what's best for each other... but they're also, let's be real here, pretty intense about each other in some ways.

For Floofty and Chandlo, I could be happy with them just being friends and in-laws while it's a V relationship with Snorpy in the middle, but I could also get behind them being together as well! I really liked their dynamic in the Isle of Bigsnax DLC, how it did seem like Floofty was eager to bond with him (even if they wanted to do so by complaining about Snorpy, LOL), how Floofty was able to explain their history with their brother and why he's so paranoid, to give them advice about Snorpy's mental state. I love Chandlo joking about teaching them how to put him in a headlock and how they said maybe another time! I loved their little "Floof-dawg" "call me that one more time" back-and-forth. They seem to like each other a lot more and have a much easier relationship post-Broken Tooth. In a scenario like this, I could see anything from Chandlo being suspicious again of Floofty because he's protective of Snorpy and this feels wrong to him at first, so is Floofty messing with and trying to fuck up Snorpy? to, if it's more "equal" poly and less V, Floofty and Snorpy starting out both sublimating their attraction to each other through Chandlo...

I also love the endings, both Good Ending and Bad Ending, for all three of them, TBH. If either Snorpy or Chandlo dies, the other is absolutely destroyed, swearing vengeance against the forces that did this (meaning Chandlo kinda falls a bit into Snorpy's paranoid way of thinking if he's the one who survives). And Floofty and Snorpy are both gutted if the other dies, with Floofty specifically having to wrench themself away from being pretty much suicidal over it -- only doing so because "somebody needs to look after Chandlo"! -- and Snorpy mourning about how they were never able to mend their relationship, saying Floofy was right about him being a coward, and wanting to try to continue their research, finally acquiescing to Floofty's insistence that it's their work that's important! And in the Good Endings, they're all starting to get in a healthier place and can shore each other up in better ways, I'm sure. Their possible dynamics post-canon are just fascinating to me!

Prompts for Inspiration

Floofty trying to deal with or totally ignore their feelings (for their brother and possibly also his beau!) even as they can see Snorpy and Chandlo's lives improving post-Snaktooth, because they know just how inappropriate that would be...
Floofty and Snorpy carefully repairing their sibling relationship, except now it's shifting into something closer than they expected or know how to deal with
Floofty and Snorpy finally working on a project together again (maybe to help Chandlo somehow?)

I kind of love the idea of Snorpy being the one to make the first move in this mutual-pining-and-not-wanting-to-be situation
The names characters call one another! When it comes to the Fizzlebeans... Floofty usually seems to call Snorpy by his full name, Snorpington, but sometimes does call him Snorpy; Snorpy always calls Floofty just by Floofty... does Floofty have a longer name that he sometimes busts out? Neither seems the type to use pet names or endearments for various reasons (Floofty is a bit too stiff and Snorpy seems too hesitant to use them AND to just fall apart if they're used for him)... Have they ever called one another dear(est) sibling/brother or anything like that? If in or heading towards an illicit sort of relationship, are they more or less likely to call one another sibling/brother? And with Chandlo, Chandlo seems to call everyone variations of "dawg" and "bro," including Snorpy; does he ever bust out pet names? How does Snorpy react? And does he keep calling Floofty variations on those things or pet name them? How used to it does Floofty get??
Trans headcanons; I want Floofty to stay nonbinary and they/them like in canon, but I am open to Snorpy being a trans man, a trans woman, or some kind of nonbinary himself, and I have a fondness for trans man or nonbinary Chandlo, but trans woman is also good! I'm also open to trans headcanons for the other characters; feel free to do whatever. And of course trans headcanons aren't obligatory!

For Cherri Bomb/Sir Pentious, the canon couple, the more I think about them the more I like them, actually! I love the enemies to lovers of it all, how Pentious realizes it first but they both really lit each other up through their fighting, enjoying their turf wars so much that it became a highlight of their lives! I love how even now that things are shifting more towards love and them also wanting soft moments and sweet gestures and romance, they still seem to be really into fighting each other and I bet they'd still have a ton of fun doing it, LOL. Date nights for them could legit be anything from cuddling on the couch watching a movie, fancy dinner date, or full-on turf war level fights again. Them exploring these new, more affectionate elements while still keeping the sharper edges because they like those two is compelling to me, and I love them going from enemies to being there for each other and liking each other and caring a ton even while they're still totally DTF (Down To Fight)!

For Baxter/Sir Pentious, good lord, the Divorce of it all. Honestly, I personally don't even tend to think they were together before they had that big fight where Pentious left -- they give me big "didn't even realize their own feelings, that they were in love, but it sure did make their big 'friend' breakup worse, and they probably STILL don't even realize any of it" energy -- but if you wanted to write them as actual exes I'd be so down! I love how they worked together at the end of Season 2 without ever actually speaking together, only managing through Emily, but how that adds this little complication where, well, they have every reason to reach out to each other and try to make up now, right? Them managing to finally work through their shit and then maybe finally have a feelings realization (or just finally mend their relationship and get together/back together) could be great, especially since I feel like when and if they are a unit they'd work super well together and it's just easy.

For Baxter/Cherri Bomb... I don't mind if the relationship is more of a V with Pentious in the middle, but even if so? I love these two becoming BFFs. I think after Baxter's whole thing about the sheets and being willing to risk his job and life for everyone, she might have just realized how much of a soft touch he is underneath all the prickliness, because she seemed to have really turned around on him by "Hear My Hope"; she had an arm around him/hand on his back through most of it! I also love that Cherri seems to canonically make her own bombs and enjoy the idea that she and Baxter could bond over chemistry. Basically, them becoming buddies, and Baxter obviously liking seeing how happy she and Pentious make each other, and Cherri figuring out that despite his protests Baxter cared and still cares a whole lot about Pentious... I love all of that and could love them also being into each other, teasing, Baxter maybe seeing why Pentious liked to turf war with Cherri so much, getting attracted to each other too, and also just in general getting comfortable with and attached each other.

I like the headcanon that Baxter is from Spain, and is therefore yet another character who knows Spanish, tbh.
NAME STUFF! Names, nicknames, pet names, and other methods of calling each other! I love the idea that Baxter switched to ONLY calling Pentious "the snake" after he left because it was emotionally easier than using his name, it allowed him to fake some distance... Did he ever call him Pen? Might he call him that again? The shift between what characters call each other intrigues me a lot. I also love how Pentious calls Cherri Bomb both Cherri and Miss Bomb! That's very cute. And would any of them use any cute nicknames/pet names? Cherri seems to use "dork" and "nerd" affectionately, and Pentious throws around "dear" and "my dear" a whole lot; what else might they say? Would Baxter ever deploy something like that?
Trans headcanons! I especially love Baxter as a trans man, but am totally open to him being nonbinary (esp if he's like the "I ~~have a job~~ am a bioscientist in Hell so idrc about that rn" meme). I'm open to Pentious being anything -- trans man, trans woman, nonbinary, for either or both of them -- but with Cherri I do have a slight preference for her being either a trans woman or nonbinary! I am also open to casual trans headcanons about other characters. And of course trans headcanons aren't obligatory!
