First of all, it's awesome that you wanted to write one of my requests, and thank you already for writing for me! I'm excited to see whatever you write, I love every single one of my requests and would adore a fic that features any of them, but don't feel any need to stick close to prompts, I always draw a blank on them anyway. My goal here is just to give you something to work with and make it easier for you to get inspired; if you hit any of my general vague likes at all and don't write any of my DNWs, I promise I will adore it.

EYESHIELD 21/OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB
Hiruma Youichi/Ootori Kyouya
I've watched all of the Ouran High School Host Club anime and read all of the Eyeshield 21 manga, so feel free to put in any of that, and I don't mind you spoiling any Ouran manga stuff so you can incorporate some things from there if you want to!

This ship strikes me as fascinating and with a ton of potential for fun stuff! Hiruma and Kyouya are incredibly different people, but also alike in a lot of ways that I think could both make them respect one another and also sometimes grate on each others' nerves like hell. They are both likely to know way too much about each other, and about each others' clubmates/teammates, and I could easily see them being on mostly equal footing.

I'm betting both would have a hard time actually pulling off blackmailing the other (or people close enough to the other to have any of their protection) or really getting one over on the other, with maybe one or two moments on either side where they get the upper hand for a VERY short period before the other manages to get things back under control. This would usually leave them having to approach each other in other ways, either more subtle manipulation (that they're both probably aware of and also aware that they're both aware of) or flat-out making deals with each other for mutual benefit. Which is great because they'd also make a scary good team when and if they did come together, so I could also see them both being savvy enough to seek the other out as a useful contact to get and to uphold.

Basically, with these two I especially like the idea of them being basically evenly matched, and them being drawn to each other specifically because of that. Neither of them actually being able to have the upper hand over the other or really intimidate the other is a key part of why I'm interested in them!

(I would also like to mention that while Hiruma resembles Kyouya waaaay more than he resembles Tamaki, still, Jesus, blond boys who are super passionate about a thing are going to be the death of Kyouya seriously. I am also fine with some minor former or current one-sided Kyouya->Tamaki feelings, and it's cool if Hiruma has some one-sided feelings for someone, I don't really have Feelings Preferences there. Just assume that he and Mamori aren't together, feelings can have happened but whether it's one-sided or a handwavey breakup or just something they decided wouldn't work is fine, I imagine they're still on fine terms.)

GENERAL CROSSOVER SETUPS: Just some handwavey crossover AU where they're both going to the same high school is fine, whether that means the Host Club is at Deimon Private Senior High School for some reason, the Devil Bats are Ouran Academy's American football team, or they're going to some weird amalgamation school instead of either. Or maybe the schools are right fucking next to each other, or Deimon's gym is closed for renovations and they're using Ouran's for some reason for a while. Or maybe the schools are just in the same town and they seek each other out when they hear about each other, or they're slightly longer distance allies who make it a point to keep in touch and even see each other occasionally. Or maybe after both their canons Hiruma and Kyouya wind up going to the same university! Maybe they're roommates or maybe they just meet due to shenanigans or again, maybe they hear about each other and one (or both) winds up seeking the other out now that they're in the same sphere.

GENERAL PROMPTS: What if Hiruma tries blackmailing or strongarming the club into doing football things and it backfires? What if the Host Club shows up at a Deimon game to cheerlead? What if Kyouya does some subtle flirting with Hiruma in front of the club's clients to make them swoon, because if Hiruma's going to be in the club room he's going to contribute? What happens the first time one tries to blackmail the other and the other flat-out destroys that shit, either Hiruma shooting photographs or Kyouya flat out breaking shit like he did Renge's video camera? How intrigued is one when they first see the other be fucking ruthless or really, really clever? How do they lend each other help on occasion? Do they feed each other information or contacts or more concrete favors such as helicopters or an Emergency Last-Minute Stagecoach? Do Hiruma and any of the Devil Bats ever get caught up in Host Club bullshit and does he really totally mind it? Does he walk into the club and they're in the middle of one of their Theme Days where the room's all done up and they're all in costume? (Sports or gangsters themes might be especially hot for this, but go nuts.) Do the two of them ever share a drink or a dance or a hotel room? Does Kyouya ever make Hiruma's temper snap? Does Hiruma ever make Kyouya's temper snap?

TOTAL AU PROMPTS: Genderswap AUs are always welcome, for either or both of them! (I find the idea of the Host Club all being girls who still dress as boys and play the exact roles they do in canon to be incredibly hot, tbh.) Or what if the school they go to is some magic school or school for superpowered students or something? What about it being a battle of the bands situation where the Devil Bats are a rock group and the Host Club is a boyband? Or an AU where the Devil Bats are a super sentai team and the Host Club are magical boys (or girls)? Or what if the Host Club are actually all demons but are still a Host Club for whatever reason? Or if Hiruma is a werewolf and Kyouya is a vampire... or maybe Kyouya is the very smooth and together werewolf who seems more like a stereotypical vampire, and Hiruma is the uncharacteristically wild vampire? (I'm not necessarily against any other AU ideas, but please ask through the mods first!)

SPOOKY PROMPTS: See above for vampire/werewolf AUs... Outside of that, maybe some spooky shit goes down because of Nekozawa, or just in general? Maybe they go to a "haunted house" that's supposed to be a fake fun Halloween experience but it isn't? Honestly, I'm good with a lot of spooky scenarios but I'd rather they be lighthearted or kinda funny, and with a definitely happy ending. Shit Going Down is fun. Both of them being surprisingly suited to dealing with it is also fun. I just prefer neither of them is the scary one to the other person (though, like, for example, having Hiruma as a monster who scares the shit out of a lot of people but Kyouya's unimpressed would work for me).

SEASONAL PROMPTS: Basically even lighter takes on the above? Nekozawa does some shit! One or the other group sets up a haunted house experience, or the/a school in general does! Or the Host Club dresses in Halloween costumes for their clients one day; maybe even the Devil Bats get in the spirit and dress up too this time? Or just general seasonal stuff, whether it be sports, walks together in the autumn, getting out the kotatsu early, drinking warm drinks, or for summer seasonal stuff maybe a beach thing! I'd love some seasonal-focused stuff, so go nuts.

SMUT LIKES: Just using anything from my general likes would be great! Otherwise, I love enthusiasm, UST before sex, manhandling, sharing a hotel room, sharing a bed in general, just having sex in some out of the way room, casual nudity and partial nudity, costume sex including crossdressing (either or both of them!), still being partly dressed during sex, both of them being kind of "what the fuck" about how into it they are and how good it is... I am happy to have either or both of them topping! Kyouya topping could be very hot, but then again Hiruma would be too, so go with whatever!

NOTE ON IDENTITY HEADCANONS: Trans headcanons and sexuality headcanons are fine so long as the focus of the fic isn't on them being those identities. I don't really have preferences for either, except I'd prefer no asexual-spectrum sexualities or sapiosexuality, and I'd like for their sexualities to be compatible.

CROSSOVER FANDOM
THE CAT RETURNS/THE GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE
Baron Humbert von Gikkingen/Basil of Baker Street
I've watched The Great Mouse Detective a billion times but haven't read the books in an age, so please base things mostly on the movie, but feel free to use little details from the books that aren't contradicted by the movie if you like! I've watched both The Cat Returns and Whisper of the Heart and also read the one-volume Baron: The Cat Returns manga, so feel free to base Baron and co. off either the movieverse or the mangaverse, incorporate small details from the other canon(s), or just mix-and-match in general.

Okay, this is maybe the stranger of my two crossover ships, but I am super into this and think it could work amazingly. After all, Basil is a talking, bipedal, clothes-wearing mouse detective in Mouse London (which is in real London), and the Baron is a talking, bipedal, clothes-wearing cat doll who's basically a detective himself whose Cat Bureau could pop up anywhere it's needed. Handwave the time period difference and we're golden.

Basil and the Baron are another two who are different in a lot of ways but alike enough that I could see them clicking very easily. Their attitudes and personalities and approaches are different, but they're both incredibly skilled and clever and help solve problems. The Baron has Muta and Toto, and helped out a human girl named Haru; Basil has Dawson and Toby and helped out an even younger mouse girl named Olivia. They also cover very different specialities, so I could see them being able to work off each other really well and benefit a lot from each others' help if they somehow wound up on the same case or in the same perilous situation.

GENERAL CROSSOVER SETUPS AND PROMPTS: Some case happens and it's tied up enough in both of their wheelhouses that they both wind up involved and working together! That's the most obvious one. Maybe Basil is investigating something and finds out this weirdass cat who isn't like any other cat he's met is also investigating because it has something to do with the Kingdom of Cats and/or magic. Or maybe the Baron's just out on some case and Toby winds up interfering at a key moment and Basil winds up getting drawn in because he's super fucking curious about this whole situation and knows the area. Or maybe Ratigan is back and making trouble in the Kingdom of Cats somehow... Or maybe Ratigan is still dead but Felicia survived and is much smarter and more talkative than anyone realized she was, and was Ratigan's real right hand woman. Maybe the Baron approaches Basil at his home at Baker Street directly, asking for his assistance; maybe Basil needs help with something and winds up stumbling on the Cat Bureau totally unexpectedly.

Or maybe there's no case at all and they wind up meeting at the same diplomatic function for some reason! Maybe they just share a history and already know each other by now. Maybe they meet totally by chance. Maybe it's a masquerade. Maybe there's a fight at some point and Baron gracefully kicks ass. Maybe they have to fly somewhere on Toto; does Basil hate heights or wind up enjoying them? Do they both end up protecting or saving each other from something? What happens when one of them gets furious (not at each other, please)? Do they ever share a drink, or a dance? Does the Baron like listening to Basil's music; does Basil enjoy the Baron's tea? Do they find out they've actually shared an enemy in the past without realizing it, or both helped the same person before by coincidence? Can either of them teach the other a key skill? Are they fascinated and impressed by the others' different methods of deduction and fields of knowledge? Do they even trust each other at first, because I can see Basil especially being very dubious about the Baron initially, especially depending on the case...

SPOOKY PROMPTS: Spooky shit! Solving murders can be fun! Feel free to play with different animal species, too; is it a cat or mouse or rat or bird or bat, or could even more traditionally spooky creatures be introduced, like snakes or tarantulas? Or maybe non-traditionally spooky animals being spooky or dangerous? What if there's magic involved in case and it gets dangerous? What if there's a ghost? What if a ghost approaches one or both of them for help solving their murder, or a ghost is the culprit of a case (or its existence is the answer to the case itself), or a ghost is just a general problem without having to do with a case? Do especially creepy things happen in the Kingdom of Cats on Halloween? Or even just in London? I prefer happy endings for spooky fics!

SEASONAL PROMPTS: Atmosphere! The scenery, the weather, the things happening around, go nuts on describing what it's like during the season. Any of the above prompts, including the general ones, can be spiced up with seasonal details! Even just them hanging out and sharing spiced tea or something. I'm not as good at coming up with prompts for this one, but trust me, stuff feeling very seasonal with the details would make me very happy.

SMUT LIKES: Just using anything from my general likes would be great! Otherwise... They're two different species (even more different than they appear) and I'd love to see that played with. They both have fur, but there are a lot of differences! Feel free to roll with exploration and sensory details and attention to actions and reactions. I also really love enthusiasm and UST before sex! Is blood running hot after some exciting case stuff, or are things more purposeful and planned? I am happy to have either or both of them topping!

NOTE ON IDENTITY HEADCANONS: Please no trans headcanons, no asexual-spectrum headcanons, and no sapiosexuality for this canon. The Baron and Basil can be gay or bi and I have no preference; so long as their sexualities are compatible I'm good, even if they don't realize it at first. (IE, one or both of them can think they're straight initially; I don't want a focus on internalized homophobia or angst about not being straight or thinking the other's straight, though, please.)

GRAVITY FALLS
Bill Cipher/Ford Pines
I've watched all of the series, and I've read Journal 3, Curse of the Time Pirate's Treasure, and the Lost Legends comic, so feel free to put in any of that stuff! You are also free to include Flatland details in Bill's backstory, if you touch on that; I am familiar with it.

These two have a complicated as hell relationship and I am here for it. I love that Ford basically used to worship Bill and that a lot of his reactions after seemed soaked in a feeling of hurt and betrayal; I also personally interpret Bill as having honest fondness for Ford but also being... really fucked up, and potentially more desperate than he was willing to admit.

In general, I like the detail in Journal 3 that Bill's weird Nightmare Realm dimension was going to collapse and he needed a way out, along with the "Says he's happy. He's a liar." detail of the poem, and the fact that he didn't seem to actually be having much fun with Weirdmageddon. Not to mention potentially the bullshit of Flatland. There's a lot of promise there for Bill's situation being worse than he was ever willing to let on; imagine how much in denial he could still be post-canon! And I am fine with both Bill in triangle or human(oid) body forms, and see my general like of xeno above. Tentacles are hot, multi genitalia is hot, all sorts of weird setups are hot. If going with porn, go for it. (Also, I get the feeling Ford has some kind of unexamined blood kink, given his notes on how blood tastes and how he assumed he'd been bitten by a vampire bat and started craving blood before realizing it hadn't been a vampire, lol.)

(Also also, if you’re writing any porn set in the Mindscape, which I also encourage, feel free to have Ford have basically any genital setup he wants. It’s a dream, anything goes! Same goes for kinks that might not be realistic/safe/comfortable otherwise, such as tentacles going all the way through the body, etc.)

Generally, I would prefer to feel like the two honestly do care about each other even if they'd rather not, and get a sense that things at least could turn out okay between them eventually!

PRE-CANON PROMPTS: Naive and starry eyed Ford and manipulative Bill who's using him and didn't intend to get even a tiny bit attached but whoops he totally did and isn't thrilled about it but can't walk the emotions thing back! But he's super good at denial so it's fine!! (Spoilers: It's not fine.) I also like the idea of some AU where Bill approached Ford differently! A situation where Bill appealed to Ford's love of weirdness and Ford's own weirdness instead of his intelligence and pride could be fun; I feel like Ford would've appreciate a head's always screaming way more than Dipper did. A situation where a mostly-more-human-looking but not 100%-human-acting Bill approaches Ford in college. Or even a situation where Bill was a bit less manipulative/lying and made it clear he wanted out of that Nightmare Realm dimension could also be neat; maybe Bill winds up in Ford's mind via the Mindscape and they share a body for at least a while! Or maybe Bill gets a body of his own, something robotic or using shapeshifter DNA or through making a deal with... something else. Or through Ford making a deal with something else. There's a lot of weirdness in Gravity Falls.

POST-CANON PROMPTS: Some situation after Weirdmageddon where they have to deal with the fallout of that and their own emotional fallout! Feel free to handwave how Bill's still around, I don't mind if you skim over that or come up with a weird explanation or just have things have ended a little differently than in the show! I like the idea of Bill as a kind of fucked up masochist who can take a lot of punishment and he and Ford having some complicated physical relationship where Ford causes him pain during angry not exactly hate makeup sex while they work through this weird Thing they have now. I also just like them having some uneasy truce where Bill is, this time around, the more openly emotionally invested one where Ford is the one trying to not actually care about him and failing, and them working through that to something that maybe might actually work this time. Or just go with any of the Spooky or Seasonal prompts below!

SPOOKY PROMPTS: I'd actually prefer for Bill not to be The Spooky One Terrorizing Ford in this scenario. Gravity Falls has some creepy shit in it and it'd be neat to see them both getting in over their heads with some local cryptid and having to rely on each other even if they don't want to! Bill's powers being limited post-canon adds in a lot of possibilities. Or what about some situation where Bill's in a human form and honestly thinks he's human for whatever reason and this is both a relief for Ford because, well, he's not a danger now, but it's also incredibly creepy and wrong-feeling and needs to be fixed? What if one or both of them gets tagged by the gremloblin and the other has to help (or they have to help each other)? Or just more ghost stuff, because ghost stuff is always great and creepy. I prefer happy or at least hopeful endings even for Spooky stories.

SEASONAL PROMPTS: Halloween in Gravity Falls! Hell, go with Summerween if you want! Did any other dimensions (Bill's or any that Ford went to) have any similar celebrations? Is there some cryptid hungry for pumpkin spice? Is there some weirdness around jack-o-lanterns? How do they interact with trick-or-treaters? How ham does Bill go on a Halloween costume (or "Halloween costume")? Does anyone have to tell EITHER of them not to use things like, say, nightmares or antigravity or gremloblins or the like to spruce up the Mystery Shack as a Haunted House for the kids in town? Or just have them playing a spooky-themed game of Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons on Halloween night or something!

SMUT LIKES: Just using anything from my general likes would be great! Otherwise, Bill's a goddamn weirdo so feel free to go ham with the xeno here! The mouth-eye thing is hot. NOTE ON IDENTITY HEADCANONS: Honestly, feel free to use trans headcanons for either or both characters so long as the focus isn't on either of them being trans! When it comes to trans headcanons specifically, I have a slight preference for Ford being a trans woman and Bill being totally outside any human understanding of gender, but I'm equally fine with Ford being a trans man or nonbinary and I'm fine with the use of any pronouns for either of them. I'm also fine with them having basically any non-asexual-spectrum sexualities except sapiosexuality, so long as their sexualities are compatible. I could easily see Bill having some weirdass form of depression as well given some of his habits and self-destructive tendencies, but I don't want too much focus on that or for it to be too overwrought if you do decide to go with it. And don't feel obligated to use any identity headcanons whatsoever! The only thing I do ask is for them to have compatible sexualities.

KATEKYO HITMAN REBORN!
Belphegor/Gokudera Hayato
I am familiar with both the manga and the anime; feel free to mix and match from both! I am not familiar with the stage shows, unfortunately. I am familiar with the character songs and some of the drama CD and other extra stuff like Haru's interviews, so feel free to pull from that stuff if you like.

Okay, so I'm going to try to keep each individual ship for this canon brief, so the sections for this canon don't take up like half the letter. This was like my very first Reborn ship and I love it! Belphegor's such a fucking weirdo, is definitely nuts but also very sharp and I think not as uncontrolled as he likes to seem sometimes, and he gets on Gokudera's nerves SO MUCH. Understandably! But Gokudera is also generally prickly to anyone who's not named Tsuna, so there's also that. They're actually both brilliant in their ways, both from well-off families and probably classically educated in some ways, throw their weapons (for the most part) and of course are both the Storm. Gokudera is also the most Mafia of Tsuna's Guardians, knowing full well about the Family and prepared from the start to be a loyal mafioso, which I think is an interesting aspect of his character when compared with Belphegor also legitimately being a part of that mafia family's official assassination squad. Even if they kinda went super disloyal there for a bit.

Their families and pasts were both fucked up in drastically different ways! From a very young age! Gokudera's mom was killed, and Belphegor killed his twin brother (though what we see of Rasiel, not saying he didn't deserve it or wouldn't have done the same...), and Gokudera was into the mafia stuff pretty damn young while Belphegor apparently joined the Varia when he was eight years old, which is hilarious. (Also the Cradle Affair took place also when he was eight? Goddamn.) They have some things in common, I think just enough that they could work together incredibly well if they ever... actually worked together, but as it is Gokudera obviously bounces off Belphegor's hard initially. Of course, seeing how things change is a fun part of fanfic!

GENERAL PROMPTS: What if, for some reason, Tsuna and his Guardians and the Varia have to work together or in pairs after the Varia Arc? If there's some outside threat and the Vongola need bodyguards, or if the Varia are being made to work with them to Learn Shit, or something. There's a lot that could potentially be played with there, and even the most ridiculous reasons could work because, I mean, Reborn. These two having to work together and managing not to kill each other and maybe managing to actually work together to scary effective results is a very interesting idea to me, especially if they end up saving each others' lives at different points!

Or TYL-related stuff! What is Gokudera and Belphegor's relationship like in the TYL-era, when the Varia actually are loyal and trusted again and Belphegor seems a bit calmer? (I mean, a bit. That's not saying that much.) How did their relationship maybe develop? What happened in those 10 years in between? There is so much space to explore and I'd love to see, like, Famiglia functions where those two bounce off each other and maybe eventually realize they have some weird friendship even if it expresses itself, uh, oddly. Or what about Gokudera interacting with TYL Belphegor more than what we got to see in canon, or TYL Gokudera getting to interact with Belphegor in the past knowing how things develop in the future? I love that time travel shit whether or not they're already together in the future! Give me all of that trope!

SMUT LIKES: Just using anything from my general likes would be great; they're my favorite kinks. Sex that's almost as much a fight that neither minds losing that much? Knifeplay is great but I'd prefer outright bloodplay was avoided, so just the danger rather than drawing blood. If TYL, has their sex calmed down any? How well do they know each others' bodies by then? That could be surprising or strange if only one of them is TYL... Sex while Belphegor is in Himeko form is absolutely acceptable too! I am happy with either or both of them topping!

Okay, so I'm going to try to keep each individual ship for this canon brief, so the sections for this canon don't take up like half the letter. I absolutely adore the relationship these two have in canon! Mammon seems to be the person Belphegor is closest to in the entire Varia, and honestly vice-versa. They hang out and seem to work together sometimes and they also seem to just do stupid shit like stealing Levi's parabola or playing video games, and Belphegor seems to be a very touchy-feely person with Mammon, basically using them as a stuffed animal. Mammon's known Belphegor for half his life, and this little eternal magic baby Belphegor's known since he was eight turns out to be an Arcobaleno! A tiny adult baby. And it changes absolutely nothing. Mammon goes on Arcobaleno business and Belphegor's like "so where are we going?" and Mammon's like "you don't need to go with me" and Belphegor goes with them anyway and they disguise themselves as siblings and are super conspiratory and Belphegor helps Mammon out with their ruse. Then they hang out and have sushi together. I mean, I love these two?

And then TYL happens and Mammon is FUCKIN DEAD and Belphegor so deeply resents their replacement. He makes Fran wear the frog hat in tribute to Mammon and doesn't get along with him AT ALL. And he gets so :D about it when it turns out Mammon is coming back, like, when it's discussed about the Arcobaleno coming back he's like "Mammon too? :)" and when Mammon comes back he's just like "found you, Mammon :)" and it's fucking adorable. I can't get over that shit. And then in the final arc he's just as touchy-feely and holding onto Mammon a lot, but also fighting on their team for the Arcobaleno thing along with the rest of the Varia? Xanxus nearly smashes his watch and Belphegor and the others physically restrain him to keep him from fucking things up, lol. Mammon saves all their lives when they're attacked! And in this arc everyone gets to see Mammon as a, let's be real, kind of gorgeous adult. Also after the TYL arc everyone remembers the future and remembers the years they lost which has got to be confusing. But basically I just love how for over a decade these two legitimately seem close and fond of each other while also being -- let's be honest here -- immature disaster assholes.

GENERAL PROMPTS: I love stuff set after the TYL arc for these two! The ending of the series especially intrigues me, with Mammon growing back up at a normal rate. How might their relationship grow and evolve when Mammon's not stuck in the body of a baby? What about when TYL comes around again? Or what about general TYL stuff before Bad Shit Goes Down, or just everyday Varia stuff during the canon time period, or after they get their memories of TYL and have to kind of... deal with... all of that. Or stuff set during the Curse of the Rainbow Arc with Mammon in their adult body for once! (I'm fine with romance and snuggling and shit whatever Mammon's body, but please no smut unless they're in a teenage body or older.)

I could also be into stuff set while they're in Namimori pretending to be Himeko and Monta. They're pretending to be siblings at school, but when they're just out and about town does anyone mistake them for a couple? Or even when they're "known siblings" are they one of those sibling pairs that feel vaguely incestuous? I could see Belphegor getting a kick out of people getting the wrong ideas on so many levels about them.

Stuff that plays with ages could be fun, too! I don't mean ageplay kinks, I more mean that, like, obviously with the Arcobaleno their mental and emotional ages are way outta whack with their physical ages and that seems frustrating for Mammo and could feel very strange. And after the TYL arc is Belphegor 16 or 26 or is literally anyone sure? Would that feel confusing? As well as, of course, both of them having memories of things that didn't happen (but did happen, but haven't happened yet and won't happen?). There could be some fun stuff to play with there!

Basically just have fun with these two, I'd love pretty much anything. Have them hanging out with Belphegor idly treating Mammon like a teddy bear. Have them kill some Varia target(s). Have them celebrate Ten Years Have Passed Again And Things Aren't Fucked Up This Time by getting sushi. Have Himeko drag her "brother" on a cake date. Have them getting into shenanigans and/or being immature brats the way they are.

SMUT LIKES: Just using anything from my general likes would be great; they're my favorite kinks. Mammon is an illusionist and can have whatever genitalia they want! (Also bondage. Also, face-tentacles. Which can also be bondage. And I bet could be used in other uncomfortably hot ways.) This section's going to be a lot shorter, not because I love them any less but because they're a brand new ship for me and I haven't given them quite as much thought, but I am super into the idea of them and want to read ANYTHING! Yamamoto is super, super laid back and good-humored but a NATURAL at the Mafia Swordsman thing; Belphegor is... also good-humored? Laughs a lot. And is also a natural at the Mafia Assassin thing (Varia quality at eight, huh?). What really got me intrigued by them is during the anime-only arc when Belphegor and Mammon were at Namimori in disguise as Totally Normal Siblings Himeko and Monta, when Yamamoto was the only one who noticed Belphegor's knives and realized who Himeko really was. He didn't say anything about it to anyone, apparently, either! And when he saw the two at TakeSushi later, he was incredibly surprised but just rolled with it when they were just there for the food. Also, apparently Belphegor and Yamamoto have the exact same favorite food and drink? (Sushi and milk, because of course.) Which is kind of cute.

GENERAL PROMPTS: I just want to see how they interact super badly! Stuff set while Belphegor is in disguise as Himeko and there's pretend flirting and maybe real flirting and maybe people think they've started dating and maybe they kinda have? Or maybe some shit goes down and they end up having to work/fight together and sync up pretty well? Or something set TYL and they're the most unexpected couple but it works out somehow, or Belphegor meets TYL Yamamoto and is like "well shit, he's hot, what the fuck," or something? Or them interacting at some non-violent Mafia event, like a diplomatic thing or some party or something. Or what if Yamamoto manages to rope Belphegor into humoring him with baseball stuff? I bet Belphegor would be a good pitcher (and I honestly kinda think Yamamoto's scary-intense pitching moments are kinda hot). Or just them meeting again at some point in general and actually kind of clicking or winding up intrigued! Anything, really, I am super intrigued so just go for it!

Okay, so I'm going to try to keep each individual ship for this canon brief, so the sections for this canon don't take up like half the letter. This was probably my very second ship in this entire fandom, and I fell head over heels for it way back without ever expecting it! I think I just adore how every single Guardian plays off their Varia counterpart, especially TYL but just in canon in general, and I'm always hungry for more of it! Yamamoto and Squalo especially hit, for me, this note of being tangled up in each other despite Squalo initially not exactly wanting that to be the case! Their attitudes towards everything are so completely different and it obviously KINDA DRIVES SQUALO CRAZY (sorry, I find it hard not to use allcaps when talking about Squalo), but Yamamoto's a fucking natural and is going to end up being a nightmare with a sword once he actually resolves to GET SERIOUS and kill someone for the first time, but also that's going to suck, but hey, that's also what mafia boys sign up for, so he'll deal with it! Squalo's whole attitude fascinates me and it actually strikes me as very practical deep down: Yamamoto's going to kill people, watch people die around him, or die himself, so he'll fucking deal with it or he's not cut out for it. This doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't get attached despite himself; he keeps sending Yamamoto video tapes in the future, after all, and shows up to train him personally!

And Yamamoto, of course, is attached to Squalo from the word go. From their first fight when he refuses to kill Squalo despite Squalo being out to kill him and just in general what the Varia's doing, to Yamamoto trying to save his life and Squalo kicking him to safety to be eaten by a shark, to Yamamoto's happiness at seeing Squalo survived... And then every time Squalo shows up afterwards Yamamoto seems in an immediate state of :D! When the Varia made that video call and TYL Squalo VOIIIIIIII'd the future base down, Tsuna and Gokudera were like "oh god it's that guy" and Yamamoto was just straight-up like "Squalo!! :D" He was also very thrilled when Squalo showed up personally, before knocking his ass out, offering Dino a fish, and bodily kidnapping him away for training. That's cool though. They get to hang out. Yamamoto's pleased with it. (What is this kid even.)

Just, sincerely, I love their weirdass relationship and their different approaches and how attached to each other they are even if Squalo's maybe fighting it the whole way at first (maybe not as hard as he says he is). I also like the moments when Squalo can see right through Yamamoto and tell that Yamamoto knows what's going on and is fully capable of taking this shit seriously; he's sharper and more dangerous than he acts. It just might frustrate Squalo that Yamamoto is still playing games instead of letting that part of himself out for real, but that's also part of what makes Yamamoto Yamamoto and I can imagine Squalo also not being in a complete rush to see that change. That would be fucking weird, after all.

GENERAL PROMPTS: So much stuff! What if, for some reason, Tsuna and his Guardians and the Varia have to work together or in pairs after the Varia Arc? If there's some outside threat and the Vongola need bodyguards, or if the Varia are being made to work with them to Learn Shit, or something. There's a lot that could potentially be played with there, and even the most ridiculous reasons could work because, I mean, Reborn. I bet Yamamoto would be thrilled and Squalo would NOT be thrilled at first! Squalo getting a better idea about Yamamoto would be really interesting, though, and it'd be neat if shit really hit the fan and Yamamoto did have to get serious in some ways. Or, alternatively, what was it like the first time Yamamoto did have to kill someone? I just in general like fighting side-by-side, too, and ending up working really well together; they're both really quick learners, too! Do they end up both saving each other or really needing to work together to take an enemy down?

Or TYL-related stuff! What is their relationship like in the TYL-era? How did their relationship develop? What happened during those 10 years in between? There is so much space to explore and I'd love to see them getting to interact outside of battles, too! More diplomatic or meeting-y things, general mafia business that isn't actually violent right in that moment? Or what about more of Yamamoto interacting with TYL Squalo, or Squalo getting to meet TYL Yamamoto? Or what about after the TYL arc is over and Yamamoto's aware of the future but Squalo has all the goddamn memories of it? I love all this time travel shit whether or not they were together in the future! Give me all of that trope!

Kururu/Saburo Mutsumi
I've watched most of Keroro Gunso, and I think I've seen every episode Mutsumi is in; I don't mind spoilers at all for any episodes I haven't seen, so feel free to refer to anything. I've also seen all the movies. As for the manga, I've read up through Volume 19, and I'm spoiled for stuff from later volumes! I prefer Kururu's personality in the anime and prefer anime Saburo Mutsumi to manga Hojo Mutsumi, but feel free to incorporate details from the manga to spice things up because I do love it too! I especially love the spoilers about Mutsumi from later volumes...

I fucking love these two assholes! I love how they don't seem like they'd click at all, except they're canonically on the same wavelength and are so obviously best friends, and care about each other in ways that are absolutely uncharacteristic for both of them. Mutsumi is friendly as hell but doesn't really get that close to anyone, keeping a mysterious distance most of the time and even not being that close to Fuyuki or Natsumi even when he gets closer to them as friends. He also seems to find a lot fairly boring, and is just so stoked by everything the aliens are doing, even (especially!) when that's invasion-of-Earth stuff! And Kururu is "the most unlikeable guy," likes to make it well known he doesn't give a shit about most things, wants to put people off, hates sweetness and light to the point that it physically injures him... and yet this upbeat, bright-eyed, adorable teen is his BFF. When the Keronians are all dimension hopping and they meet an alternate universe version of Mutsumi, Kururu pep talks him. When Mutsumi's life is in danger in Episode 229, Kururu blows the entire budget on making him another reality pen, shows the clearest concern he's maybe shown in his entire life racing to the rescue, and puts himself right between a deadly blast and Mutsumi in order to toss him the pen.

These two do not seem like they would work, and yet they absolutely do, know they do, and embrace it. It's wonderful.

Also, I am fine with Kururu in his normal body, in the Kururuko robot (how realistic is it?), in the weird Zechs-looking robot, or in a due to some invention, either an adult human body or a teenaged one. Go nuts!

GENERAL PROMPTS: What happened directly after Episode 229? Hell, what happened directly after Episode 51, when the Platoon thought they were leaving and Kururu sent that message to Mutsumi and wound up not leaving? What about when Giroro's Platoon attacked and Zoruru took out Mutsumi; did Kururu think at any point that Mutsumi was actually dead? What is it like when they hang out? Does Mutsumi ever volunteer to test out any of Kururu's inventions? Does Kururu like hanging out at the radio station? Kururu helped "623" pretend to be a goddamn alien going back to his home planet in the anime and supplied him with a private radio station all his own so he could keep up with his radio program; do they ever hang out there? At the end of the flashback episode that showed how they first met, Mutsumi asked if Kururu would teach him how to resonate; this has both friendship, teammate, and romance connotations. How did Kururu react? Did he do it? How did the lessons go, was Mutsumi any good, can he resonate now?

Or maybe a fun fake dating scenario with Kururu as Kururuko? Like, Mutsumi deciding to pretend Kururuko is his girlfriend just for kicks when Kururu shows up in the robot, maybe purposefully teasing him and getting on his nerves with shmoopy PDA and pet names? Or Kururu teasing him by starting the "I'm his girlfriend~" flirting and PDA stuff? Or both of them deciding that's a really good lie/excuse for something and being both amused and surprisingly into it? I'd prefer no angsty pining for a fake dating scenario, more like "WOW you're a jackass being all touchy-feely like that" "I know ♥" (either of them could say either part of that honestly).

Finally, it turns out Mutsumi is a GODDAMN ALIEN... or, rather, was adopted by aliens called N326ans at a young age and only recently came back to Earth. I am stoked about this. Does Kururu know? How did/does he react? How did/does he find out? Does one of Mutsumi's N326an family members come to visit; how would that go? Did Mutsumi absorb any alienness from living with aliens on an alien planet for so long? (I really like to think he did.) Is he ever planning to go back? Does Kururu only find out post-canon after the Platoon actually does permanently leave Earth and he's almost sure he's never going to see Mutsumi again and suddenly they're interacting with their allies the N326ans and Mutsumi's fuckin there because he also went back home? Like, that would be such a troll move, you can't even tell me Mutsumi wouldn't do it.

AU PROMPTS: Species swap AUs are great! What if Mutsumi was also a Keronian, maybe even Kururu's protoge? What if the Platoon were actually the humans (whether kids or adults) and the series' human characters are the Keronian Platoon come to invade? Or, rather than an actual species swap, what if the Keronians showed up in fake human teen bodies (due to one of Kururu's weird guns) when they came to invade and integrated into the school and wound up dragged into friendships with these human kids? (Dororo might've still been found by the ninja village first.) Or what about a Steven Universe AU where the Keronians are Gems instead!

I am also down for some really tropey AUs. Arranged marriage AU where Keronians and N326ans are starting to strategically intermarry to solidify an alliance? Or what about a soulmate AU? What about two different soulmate AUs? By which I mean, say that for example the Keronians have timers somewhere on their bodies counting down to when they're going to meet their soulmate, and humans have the first words their soulmate is going to say with them somewhere on their bodies, or vice-versa? Or humans always hear the music their soulmate is listening to or thinking about, and Keronians manifest a meaningful image somewhere on their skin when their soulmate first touches them, or vice-versa? Or maybe Keronians have soulmarks and humans don't have soulmarks but N326ans do have soulmarks (either the same ones as Keronians or different ones). Just have a blast with it if you end up going this route!

Finally, one of the Keroro Gunso episodes has Fuyuki seeing some canon AUs for Mutsumi, and one of them super caught my eye; it's only onscreen for a few seconds, but Mutsumi seems to be some kind of smooth space pirate with Kururu as his first mate? I am so intrigued by this idea; I'd love to read anything about this scenario!

SEASONAL PROMPTS: Atmosphere! The scenery, the weather, the things happening around, go nuts on describing what it's like during the season. Any of the above prompts, including the general ones, can be spiced up with seasonal details! Even just them hanging out during the season! Or what do they do for Halloween? Is it (somewhat more) normal Halloweeny stuff, or does the Platoon get up to something with Mutsumi along for the ride? Does Kururu make curry candies? Does he put pumpkin spice flavoring into everything in the house even if it really shouldn't have that flavor? I'm not as good at coming up with prompts for this one, but trust me, stuff feeling very seasonal with the details would make me very happy.

SMUT LIKES: Just using anything from my general likes would be great; they're my favorite kinks. Go absolutely nuts with xeno if you want to, I'd love it! Size difference is great here, too, if Kururu's in his real body! Feel free to really lean into this. THE LAST HALLOWEEN
Robert/Eugene Otto
I'm caught up on the entire comic, so go nuts!

Whoo boy. I love this ship, there's just so much complexity here... Unhealthiness, but not for lack of trying. I am fascinated by how Robert talks about their relationship, how the way he tells Mona about it makes it sound like he really did legitimately want things to work between himself and Gene (as she says maybe it will work if she tries with Susan), likely did not realize where his immense jealousy was leading until it happened, but his mixed feelings now about not even knowing if he regrets it or not. I love that you can tell he loved Gene in his own way then and might even be capable of different, healthier kinds of love now -- might even have been more capable then than he'd believed -- but still wound up ruining his life and killing him... and how Gene asked him to kill him. I love the whole monster aspect entirely, a creature who is born when you are and whose life is tied to yours in so many inextricable ways, how it leaves you both vulnerable, and all the monsters' thoughts on that.

I love how complicated and tragic they are in basically all ways, but I'd prefer a more... wistful feel than purely tragic, despite both their canon fates, if possible. And you can feel free to give them a happier ending, too.

PRE-CANON PROMPTS: What were they like before things fell apart? Or as things were falling apart? I don't want smut while Gene's underage, but romance or confused romantic feelings starting younger than that is totally fine. They were inseparable since Gene was a small, small child, until Gene was sent away. How did Robert even become Gene's best friend, instead of just killing him then? Why? What was their relationship actually like, how did they interact? How did Robert even at that young age handle Gene having other friends? What did Robert do while Gene was gone, did he "know" he'd come back or wonder if he would, how did he feel when he finally did but with wife in tow? (Or, of course, you can ignore real life details of the real life Eugene Otto's life. Feel free to play fast and loose with the real Robert legends; I can understand why you might want to!)

What was it like while things were going bad, when they were best friends and closer than anyone but Robert was just absolutely wrecking everything in Gene’s life? I love the implication that it's not just jealousy of Gene having other things in the sense of wanting to be the only important thing to him, it's jealousy of the life Gene has, of Robert never being able to have that or have anything but Gene, but being sort of displaced.

What was it like with good times? Infidelity is fine for this specific canon, because really it's one of the least fucked up elements of this whole situation. They were best friends. Robert ruined his life, but they were close, inseperable either, and Gene obviously never stopped caring for him. What was it like when they were enjoying themselves, enjoying each other, talking or playing or cuddling? You can also see smut prompts if you want to go there... And if you don't want to write their relationship as sexual, know that I am just as into them as a totally nonsexual fucked up romance as well, even something that blurs the lines between romance, friends, family, predator-and-prey, a lot of things. Though I do think they honestly loved each other... Just, at the time, badly. Are they something they'd both know they can never revisit, or do you think time has changed things and Robert's relationship with Mona shows that he can reach a point where he's less totally destructive?

If you want to do something with the actual point in canon where Robert kills Gene, you're also free to do this; it's a moment that does fascinate me. Gene asks Robert to kill him; what's going through both their heads? How does it happen? In some versions of the legend, Robert strangles him, which is very intimate, but you could go with something else as well, easily. This was the sort of inevitable culmination of their relationship and what gifts/curses Robert with immortality. He honestly doesn't know if he regrets it, he thinks about Gene every day, he wonders if he should have just let Gene live and accepted his own death when Gene died of old age... It's just such a major moment for them.

POST-CANON PROMPTS: This one's a bit harder, because Robert is dead by the end of Book 1. But feel totally free to play with afterlife stuff! Do they actually turn out to go to the same afterlife? Are their afterlives connected in the same way the human world and the monster world are? Do Robert and Gene wind up meeting again, is it awkward, is it uncertain, is it happpy... How would that go down, how would they both feel? What does Gene think and feel now? Robert has changed a lot, so how does he act and react?

AU PROMPTS: Alternately, you could play with some ideas about Robert not dying or Robert coming back to life in some handwavey way! (I still almost half-expect it, given the scythe...) Maybe after everything, because of the conversation with Mona, Robert asks Charon to deliver a message to Gene, or asks to speak to him directly. Or what if Gene asks to speak to Robert, or comes through as a ghost on a night when that's easier to do? Or... what if Robert finds out that Gene is a ghost (like Fugue! undead!), either newly or that he has been for years and Robert didn't know? Or what if Robert did indeed just allow Gene to live out his life, be satisfied with the lifespan he had as well, and die with him? Or, finally, what if there's some handwaved timeline stuff and the Halloween Monster Breakthrough Mash (it was a graveyard smash apocalypse) happens while Gene's still alive, either back in the past or Gene's just alive during the time of the comic instead of having been alive decades earlier? Does Robert get really protective? Does he grow and change similarly to how he did in canon? Does he still sacrifice himself?

SPOOKY PROMPTS: It's kind of unavoidable that so much from the rest of my letter could fit in here. It's just that kind of canon, and Robert is just that kind of character! Other than the stuff I've already said above, feel free to play with the natural spookiness of this universe! There are terrifying monsters out to kill humans (especially their humans, but often not strictly so), and some slipped through the cracks even before what happened with the Phagocyte. Gene is potentially at risk; before Gene dies, even Robert is at risk. I imagine Robert would be pretty protective, but it would be more dangerous for him to be so... (And would he idly be thinking even while protecting Gene that if it looks bad and seems like Gene really is going to die, he might have to kill Gene himself very quickly first?) There are also undead, and while they aren't intrinsically dangerous to humans, I bet some might be! And of course there's also the Phagocyte himself, and his people. Robert was pretending to be undead in canon, but that's a dangerous game; what if the Phagocyte hears of this supposedly "cursed doll" and sends some of his people to investigate? And it's easy to imagine how any of these scenario could terrify or endanger Gene, and it's easy to imagine how they could endanger Robert... but how do you terrify Robert? And what would happen if you did?

SEASONAL PROMPTS: Honestly, anything you write could also easily fit into here. It's just that kind of canon, too! There's so much seasonal stuff you could play with no matter the point in canon. Go nuts with the atmosphere and details about nature and warm drinks and the holiday... And if you are someone for which "seasonal" doesn't mean autumn, well, Gene is in Florida, near the beach. There's definitely stuff to play with there, too! I'm not as good at coming up with prompts for this one, but trust me, stuff feeling very seasonal with the details would make me very happy.

SMUT LIKES: Just using anything from my general likes would be great! Otherwise... What would sex even be like for a human and a doll? Feel free to lean into size kink, but try not to dwell too much about Robert resembling a child; some mentions of his size and unnerving appearance are fine but no shota kink. Don't feel any need to give him genitalia, though you're free to go nuts with how it would work if you want! Can Robert control Gene's body to any extent? Does Robert just talk him through things, or watch, or touch? Does Gene just frot on him? Can Robert "get off" (I'm fine with yes or no, but if no I do prefer some sort of deep satisfaction/pleasure from the experience). Manhandling is also A+++ in this particular scenario, or posing and positioning Robert like, well, a doll. Robert moving during sex or being totally still. Basically there's a lot of ways you could play this, feel free to get weird kinky with it if you go this route! I'm good with either or both of them topping.

NOTE ON IDENTITY HEADCANONS: Eugene Otto is based on a real person, so trans headcanons for him would feel a little weird to me. I do like the idea that Robert is just entirely [shrug] about gender, though, if you want to include that! No need to focus on it even if you do, but I can easily imagine it being the case. No worries either way. I can also see Robert being entirely [shrug] about sexuality, and he doesn't need to be interested in sex or capable of being turned on at all but I don't think any asexuality-spectrum framework would make sense for him so I'd rather those terms not be used. And again, since Gene is based on a real person, I'd prefer his sexuality not be specifically labeled if possible; I just don't want it stated or implied that their sexualities, at least romantically, are incompatible.

I've watched the entire anime, all one season of it, and have read the first two light novels. I do prefer the anime to the light novels in most cases, but feel free to go animeverse while also sprinkling in stuff from the first novel, and go ahead and take the second novel as canon for this if you want! Later stuff I'm less familiar with and am also less thrilled about what I've heard in general, though, so I'd rather you just stick to the first two.

Oh, man, this is going to be long because I'm going to expend several paragraphs on why I love Hans/Adlet, and then several more paragraphs on why I love Rolonia with the both of them, and then several more paragraphs of why I love Flamie with all three of them, etc. I'm going to do it that way because it's easier and less time- and space-consuming than trying to do all of them separately; rest assured I do not prefer any of my requests to any of the others at all.

First, for Hans and Adlet: I adore these two. Absolutely adore them. What I think I love the most is that they're not characters you'd necessarily expect to even mesh at all, and they do bounce off each other at first! But Adlet swiftly comes to admire Hans's genius and want to win him over (if only for practical reasons), and Hans just fascinates me in that as soon as he's convinced of Adlet's innocence, he becomes unflinchingly, unhesitatingly dedicated and loyal. Like, "You've become friends with Hans! Hans will now DIE FOR YOU." levels of dedicated and loyal, which is not something I would have expected from his character.

I love how Adlet is determined to save everyone and does not accept that it might not be possible, whose greatest goal was to become a Brave for horribly personal reasons, whereas Hans is an assassin who, after becoming a Brave, wouldn't even have met up with the others to fight the Demon King if the local king hadn't paid him to do it. I love how Adlet wears his everything on his sleeve, but Hans seems to delight in making people underestimate him (wearing baggy clothes that do well to hide how fuckin ripped he is; not initially letting on what a brilliant fighter he is; making cat sounds and cat puns and explaining his connection to cats in silly seeming ways, including holds hand up to face like paw and go "nya"; generally acting silly; even his incredibly heavy accent and way of speaking, which is like the equivalent of country bumpkin/hillbilly). Both of them fake smiles for different reasons while there's something heavier underneath.

But mostly, it's that dedication, and how in sync they wind up with each other. They can communicate wordlessly in fights and trust each other completely in them, and Hans refuses to leave Adlet behind (physically picking him up and carrying both him and Chamot at one point and flat-out running away) unless it will literally save his life to leave (and will give his life if need be). They make an incredible team.

And then, Rolonia, the Saint of Blood: She shares a past with Adlet, with the same teacher whose intense and violent teachings Adlet grew up under after losing his village to fiends. They bawled together! They're obviously close friends, and care about and want to help each other a whole lot. And they've both been under the same suspicion of being the Fake Brave, with Adlet having been suspected until the truth came out, and then Rolonia's unexpected appearance putting the heat on her as another potential fake. She wants to help people and is as unflinching about it in her own ways as Adlet is, a blood healer, and has become as much of a warrior as well if in a very... unusual, disassociative way.

And while she doesn't share a past with Hans, she definitely shares a present with him, and the way they end up interacting and connecting is incredibly interesting! At first, Hans was very suspicious of her, but when he realizes what's happening he not only abruptly runs off while misdirecting Adlet in order to save his life, but grabs Rolonia's wrist and drags her along with him because he knows he's going to need her help. And he does, because by the time Adlet catches up Hans is clinically dead with his throat slit, and Rolonia being there and concentrating super hard on keeping his blood in his body and flowing is the only thing keeping him alive. And then the both of them 100% save his life because Rolonia never breaks concentration for a moment which means someone else (Adlet) needs to give Hans mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. This is the most romantic goddamn moment ever to me, and I love it equally for Hans/Adlet and Hans/Adlet/Rolonia, because wow. I am amazed by how completely they can all depend on each other.

And then, last but certainly not least, Flamie, the Saint of Gunpowder. (Fremy is also totally fine; Flamie is actually the name I'm more familiar with, but I'm good with either.) Her trust has been broken in horrible ways, but Adlet doesn't give up on her to the point that he gets through, she can't not trust that he means what he says, that he loves her and wants to make a world that she can live in and be happy in, wants to make a home for her, wants to help her just in general. His faith in her is unwavering from the start, and it takes her time to be able to have faith in him -- she resists it, even, unwilling to let herself make that mistake -- but when she finally does she is all in and fights by his side to save his life and buy him time, even if it gets her attacked.

And she doesn't trust anyone else. Once Rolonia shows up, she makes it clear that she doesn't just suspect Rolonia of being the (new) fake, she suspects literally every single one of them except Adlet. She certainly doesn't trust Hans, and when Adlet is going after Fremy to help her, Hans says flat-out he shouldn't trust her, even if she's not the fake. But the reasons he gives are so fascinating and immediately made me ship them (and in fact all three of them) a little: She's like him. He recognizes a deep-down darkness in her and he recognizes it specifically because that same darkness is in him. He is obviously affected while talking about it, and then he gives a bright little smile and totally hides all that. Flamie doesn't bother smiling to hide things, they couldn't be more different on the surface, but they have that deep-down similarity that fascinates me. And it's not just that; they don't trust each other, but Adlet tells Flamie flat-out that if something happens to him, to go and find Hans and he will protect her... and I have no doubt that he would, if Adlet wanted him to. And when Hans runs off with Rolonia to save Adlet's life, he shouts that Adlet should go check on Flamie and make sure she's okay -- using her as a distraction and misdirection, yes, but he knows Adlet cares for her deeply.

And that leaves Flamie and Rolonia, who absolutely fascinate me as well. At the end of Season 1 of the anime, it's obvious that Flamie is incredibly jealous of Rolonia and how close she is with Adlet, but the thing is, in the second book of the light novel I never got the impression that Flamie hated Rolonia due to jealousy. She tells Moira that she suspects Rolonia, but that she also suspects every single one of them except Adlet. Rolonia is friendly with her and Flamie seems confused that anyone would be friendly with her like that, but doesn't rebuff her. And she reveals that a)a lot of her jealousy is because she thinks Rolonia is a nicer and better person than her and could honestly make Adlet happy and b)her jealousy instinctively made her tempted to kill Adlet and while she wouldn't, she's shaken by even having that thought and figures it just proves that Rolonia is a better person, and better for Adlet, than her. While angsty, she actually honestly seems to like Rolonia. I just feel like there is so much to play with adding Flamie -- adding both of them -- to the picture.

And now that all that's over, the prompt list will actually be kind of small. I want this as much as anything else, I just have a harder time thinking up prompts for this canon for some reason!

GENERAL PROMPTS: Various stuff while they're traveling in canon would be amazing. Post-canon fic (as handwavey as you like it for how canon ends, as long as none of the parts of the ship are dead or like, comatose or whatever) where they meet up again and/or have to readjust to a more normal life now (well, as normal as their lives will ever be) would be amazing. H/C or emotional scenes (or emotional sex!) after That Thing What Happens In Book 2 would also be amazing! I also love Hans/Adlet particularly on the happier side, really into each other even if they're going into a situation where they might well die, teasing, friendly, they just seem like they could be fun to me. I love playing with hair, I love casual physical affection, I love characters who aren't used to affection slowly getting introduced to it and getting used to it, I love touch-starved characters getting touch. I also love people loving Hans and/or Flamie's eyes. And, of course, there's plenty of room for battle scenes and protectiveness and scenes where someone's hurt and needs the other(s) to help... And lost in the wilderness stuff could be fun!

SPOOKY PROMPTS: Canon's pretty spooky all by itself, so take advantage of that! Kyouma are monsters, and could be scary even for seasoned fighters. Being lost in the wilderness could be played for horror, too. How fucked up does everything get, the land and the flora and fauna, as they get closer to the Demon God? And this is a world with magic and gods and Saints, so what else is there out there? Zombies? Ghosts? Vampires or shapeshifters or wendigo? Does someone get hurt or in over their head? I prefer happy or at least hopeful endings to even the spooky stuff.

SEASONAL PROMPTS: Well, they're traveling through the wilderness, so there's plenty of room for describing seasonal stuff! Maybe they talk about a seasonal celebration; is it anything like Halloween, or is it totally different? Worldbuilding could be fun here. Or just make it as atmospheric for whatever time of year it is for you as possible. I'm not as good at coming up with prompts for this one, but trust me, stuff feeling very seasonal with the details would make me very happy, so go nuts!

SOFIA THE FIRST
Baileywick/Cedric the Sorcerer

Once again, I'm going to keep the sections for these individual ships as short as I can so that the Sofia the First section of my letter doesn't take over completely. I want all these ships just as much as every other ship on my list!

These two both work for King Roland at Enchancia's castle, of course, but their circumstances are different in really interesting ways to me! Baileywick seems to have worked for the family for a long, long time, and seems married to his work, never taking a break and being on top of keeping everything running. He's the Castle Steward and is in charge of all the rest of the servants, but he's also a servant himself and completely aware of it, and doesn't at all mind it. Cedric's father worked for the family for a long, long time, and he feels like he's in his father's shadow, and he also seems to be working all the time but isn't happy to be constantly on call, especially for things he thinks are beneath his position, such as babysitting. He's the Royal Sorcerer yet has absolutely no one beneath him to delegate to, and is very aware of his position and does seem to mind it, at least since everyone thinks of him as a failure. There's that, too; Cedric has a cloud hanging over him from his childhood, one that isn't actually his fault, and his nervousness about messing up makes him mess up worse, and people think he's a shit sorcerer and laugh at him or roll their eyes or dismiss him. Baileywick, however, is incredibly smooth and effective at what he does and can seem almost, well, magic with how efficient and helpful he can be, and is one of the most well-respected people at the castle.

One of the things that really interests me with these two is perception. While Baileywick teases Cedric once or twice about being bad at magic, he doesn't seem to dislike the man and likely doesn't realize how personally Cedric takes such cracks, because Cedric does take everything like that exceedingly personally. Baileywick seemed to be being friendly right before Cedric froze him on his way to take over the kingdom, and afterwards he only gave Cedric a few suspicious looks before he proved himself. And Cedric for his part doesn't seem to resent Baileywick, but feels isolated and looked down on enough that he considers Sofia his first and only friend, and doesn't feel that anyone ever supported him. Overall I doubt the two of them thought too much about one another for most of their careers, and had a few misunderstandings when they did exchange words but didn't think too badly of each other overall. So what if they did notice each other a bit more, start talking, start giving one another a hand?

Also I'd like to note that I love how both of them are better with children than one might expect (well, Cedric anyway). Baileywick becomes a Buttercup Guide and helps out with the troop on occasion, as well as helping out with the kids around the castle generally, and Cedric is Sofia's teacher as well as occasionally begrudgingly entertaining/babysitting the castle childen in general, as well as his short stint as a substitute teacher at Royal Prep, which he ended up actually enjoying. I also like that by the final episode, Cedric seems incredibly confident in himself, and both steps in to help Baileywick with decorating and Baileywick compliments him in return!

GENERAL PROMPTS: Various preparations for a thing! How do Baileywick and the other castle servants get things prepared with their efficient and busy work, and how does Cedric get things prepared with magic? Do things go even more smoothly now that everyone's working together? Or maybe they both end up having to watch a group of kids for some reason, or help Sofia out with something! Or maybe something dangerous and exciting happens! Does Baileywick find out about the amulet and all that stuff? Could Baileywick learn how to use a wand -- even if just one of those single-spell wands like at Hexley? After Baileywick's (kinda disastrous) one day off, does the royal family insist that he occasionally take a day for himself, just from time to time, every so often? Do they ever do each other favors, like picking something up for the other while they're out? Could they clear up previous misunderstandings and get a better idea of each other? When Cedric was first really trying to prove himself again, did he try helping out Baileywick with things once he'd proven himself to King Roland? If one of them gets sick or hurt, can the other help? H/C in general is just great! After the series end, does Cedric ever end up getting another familiar? Also, where the heck does Cedric eat? I know in castles the servants eat in their own separate place from the royal family and guests, but Cedric seems kinda... in between places; does he always just eat in his tower? Would he start eating with the servants sometimes looking for a little more cameraderie now that he's more accepted?

Also also, Cedric can sing and dance, I just wanna throw that idea out there. Those hip swings while he's performing some of his songs. ♥

SEASONAL PROMPTS: Seasons in Enchancia! They have Halloween there, and they also have other celebrations! Do they have a harvest celebration in the Kingdom? What do they do in the summer, if it's summer for you? It's a beautiful kingdom, so go nuts with the description. Also, it's a magical kingdom! Greylock is a super minor character, but he and Cedric have a lot of history and his fate leaves a lot of questions, so I'd love to see your take on their relationship! They were obviously classmates at Hexley, and just as obviously Greylock grated on Cedric's nerves even at the time, which is understandable. He's a bit much, and those pranks are not necessarily as welcome as he seems to think they are! But he's exceedingly friendly, if competitive and teasing, and he and Cedric ended up working really well together, and Cedric seemed a little blown away when Greylock outright referred to him as "my friend." Did Cedric have reason to think Greylock outright didn't like him in school? Or were they actually closer during their Hexley Hall days but grew apart? There's not too much known about their past, and I'd love to get some idea of how it informs their present... But I also just like their present interactions!

And then Grimtrix hatched his plot, and Greylock actually got involved, which was a huge surprise! He didn't seem to be grating under King Magnus like Cedric had been under King Roland; was he just a better actor? What problems might he have had with Magnus? Magnus seemed to be complimenting him a lot, usually in the process of comparing Cedric with him to Cedric's detriment, but was that less than enjoyable to work under, or did Greylock have other reasons to want a more powerful position? Or was it Grimtrix's influence and silver tongue? You could go a lot of ways with this! And Greylock successfully froze Magnus and took over Rudistan, and we never really find out what happened there. Was Greylock arrested after Grimtrix's overall plan failed? Did he have to flee? Or did he actually stay in charge of Rudistan? Is the place a mage-ocracy now? After all, Rudistan was a rival kingdom to Enchancia, and there are worse things than a rival kingdom having a leadership change; is Roland willing to be diplomatic with King Magnus for practical reasons? That situation could be awkward and fun, but then again, so could Greylock's reign having been short and him having to hide or also having to prove himself again just like Cedric did. Maybe Cedric could give him pointers and and they could commisserate? Bet they didn't realize they had this in common! (Well, Cedric didn't realize, anyway.)

GENERAL PROMPTS: ...I got carried away and started prompting above. Well, any of that! What's the situation like after the whole Grimtrix takeover thing? Or before that happened/if that didn't happen, were he and Cedric keeping in touch as new/rekindled friends? Did he and Cedric ever confide anything in each other, either at school or after the episode where they re-met? A story set while they're in school would also be excellent; did they have anything back then, or fool around any, or just friends? Were there good times? Misunderstandings? Slickwell is an incredibly minor character and a one-off villain, but I'll admit, this show leaves me wanting allllll the villains being won over and redeemed, and he really intrigued me. What can I say, the boy's got hustle! It's funny to think that his determination to the be the Castle Steward for Enchancia specifically might have been a really strange and messed up compliment to Baileywick: after all, is Rudistan so much worse than Enchancia, does it have so much less reputation (even being its rival!), or is it mostly that Baileywick himself is such a whiz of a Steward that Slickwell was like, ah yes, the Steward of Enchancia, everyone praises the guy in THAT position! Bless your heart, kid. (Also, King Magnus of Rudistan again! Why does no one want to keep working for this guy!)

I'm really into the age difference in this, how Slickwell is an up-and-comer and honestly has a lot of skill in his own right. It actually honestly seems like, given time for his skills and reputation to solidify, he could have wound up being as respected and praised and depended-on as Baileywick even without having to try to cheat his way into a "promotion." I can also imagine that he made a lot of excuses to himself that he wasn't doing anything that bad, anyway. Baileywick would retire eventually! (Bud, he never even takes a day off.) Retirement isn't a terrible fate, he's just hurrying it along and getting the old guard out a little faster so the new generation can step in! But obviously he doesn't think Baileywick is unskilled at all since he knew he'd have to hex him in order to get him to slip up. Did Slickwell ever just honestly look up to Baileywick before that got kinda twisted? Also, I'm sorry, meeting this Steward and being like oh wow you're brilliant at your job and I admire you so much I want to give you a gift, and then giving him jewelry, feels real real gay, I'm just saying.

Of course, by the end he's found out and fired and kicked out, so it's not like his story didn't end in disgrace. And he vowed revenge but never ended up coming back! So there's a lot to play with there, but like I said, I'm actually intrigued by him not being a total villain; I'd love to see their justifiably rocky relationship start to shift...

GENERAL PROMPTS: How might they meet again? Does Sofia wind up winning Slickwell over? Does he come to apologize or help make it right? Does he wind up throwing in his lot with some more powerful villain who's out to cause trouble for Roland or Sofia or someone at the castle, and get in over his head and realize he doesn't actually want to do something that evil? Does he need saved, does Baileywick, does someone else? Is there just a situation where they have to work together, even just with preparing the castle for something? Is he trying to prove himself and start off on the right foot this time (and show off a little), or is he trying to ingratiate himself so that he can get revenge when it's least expected only he winds up actually fond of Baileywick?

Also, I'm just gonna mention again that Greylock deposed King Magnus and took over Rudistan, becoming King Greylock; maybe he rehired Slickwell? That could be a fun scenario! (I am fine with both Cedric/Greylock and Baileywick/Slickwell being in the same fic, but don't feel obligated to include both, obviously; see the above section of my letter for more details!)

SEASONAL PROMPTS: Seasons in Enchancia! They have Halloween there, and they also have other celebrations! Do they have a harvest celebration in the Kingdom? What do they do in the summer, if it's summer for you? It's a beautiful kingdom, so go nuts with the description. Also, it's a magical kingdom! We know there are ghosts and all kinds of nonhuman beings, so is there any spooky stuff? I didn't request the Spooky category for this one because honestly I imagine this wouldn't get too dark, around-about show level, but some PG-rated thrills and chills could be a lot of fun! I don't have as many seasonal ideas for this one, but it doesn't mean I don't want them! Go nuts and have fun and I'll love it!

THE TATAMI GALAXY
Ozu/Watashi
Akashi/Ozu/Watashi
I've watched the entire anime, but have not read the novel it was based on, so please stick to anime only!

This is going to be another case where I talk about what I love about Ozu/Watashi, and then talk about what I love about Akashi with the both of them, because it's easier than trying to do the OT3 completely separately. Again, rest assured that I don't prefer one of these ships over the other at all!

I love Watashi and Ozu's relationship throughout the entire anime, from beginning to end, and boy does it change a lot by the end! I love how much of an unreliable narrator Watashi is and how blind to his own faults he is, I love how despite his constant negative narration about Ozu it's still possible to tell if you're looking that Ozu's often a lot more reasonable than Watashi makes him out to be (...and a lot more reasonable than Watashi is, like with many of the conversations in Episode 2). Ozu is of course also a little shit, but it's interesting what Watashi does and doesn't see about him and what he completely misinterprets over the course of the series! I'm also amused that Ozu is way more of a people-person than Watashi is, since Ozu has Higuchi as his "master" and is friends with Jougasaki and Hanuki, and seems to at least be on good terms with Akashi, and winds up having a girlfriend, whereas Watashi's only friend a lot of the time is Ozu and when he does have other friends he often doesn't realize that's the case.

The black thread of fate thing is great! Since Watashi's really the one who's messing up his own life 99% of the time (and legitimately half the time when he resets his life isn't messed up... dude, what were you thinking at the end of Episode 4, you were fine!), Ozu teasing Watashi about that seems more tongue-in-cheek but Watashi takes it SO SERIOUSLY, which is great, and then by the end he's actually distressed to think of it being gone or severed or not real. Which leads me to some of the damn imagery and interactions. How Ozu jokingly snuggles up to him multiple times! The end of Episode 2 with the strange movie clip/imagine spot of Watashi and Ozu kissing! Watashi's stunned upset upon finding out that Ozu has a girlfriend, which involves imagery of the black thread between them severing and Watashi being obviously unhappy about that! Watashi remembering everyone in the tatami room and his particular focus on Ozu, "he was my only friend," and wishing he could have met him and knowing they would have had fun if he had! The entire sequence on the bridge, the way Watashi shouts Ozu's name repeatedly and runs and flies across the fucking lake (while his clothes rip off...?) to grab and help him! "Ozu! I'm here to save you!" "YOU'RE NAKED" makes me laugh every time!

And of course by the end the relationship is fascinating in a totally different way, completely flipped around, with Watashi being the one to tease Ozu and give him a hard time but it's his way of showing he cares, and Ozu being mystified because he doesn't remember Watashi at all. (Also, I find the real Ozu's appearance cute as hell. I just want to mention that in general.)

And then add Akashi into the equation! She's got such a great relationship with both of them, and I feel like she could add some great stuff! I love how Watashi also has the wrong idea about her, too; it's more subtle than with Ozu but you can see how she's actually acting in the final episode, how she's more animated and smiles more than we saw in any of the episodes that were filtered so heavily through Watashi's perception! And in all those episodes she obviously liked him at least as a friend; he probably could have asked her out at any point! (Well, maybe not in Episode 9.) The two of them are really sweet together in the final ep, and they were honestly always really sweet together. I love how often she steps in and helps him out in the episodes, how even at the end of Episode 3 she's trying to help him, how she's also a disciple of Higuchi's, how she helps Ozu prank Watashi with the love letters and then apologizes to him for it!

And speaking of that, she seems to have a really interesting relationship with Ozu that I'd love to see more of, too; she does help him with that prank, after all, and seems very familiar with him (even from the start, her reaction to him on the bridge is "senpai, are you causing trouble again?") and concerned for him too when things go really wrong. And of course, in that final timeline Ozu has known Akashi for longer than he's known Watashi! Basically, all three of them seem like they could have a great dynamic and be a lot of fun together.

(As a note about how to deal with Ozu's canonical girlfriend... since him having a girlfriend is kind of a huge narrative deal for Watashi, it might not work to just have them never have dated, but if you have an idea for pulling that off go for it! Otherwise, you can just handwave that they didn't work out; I can imagine them still being good friends! Maybe she has to move and they decide neither of them are interested in long-distance? Just don't villainize her or kill her off or something and I'll be happy.)

GENERAL PROMPTS: What happens post-canon? Watashi remembers a lot more than Ozu and Akashi do; does that change for anyone at any point? Is Higuchi actually fully human? Ozu said he was gonna lie low after canon while things died down; what if Akashi and/or Watashi decide they should all go on a trip together while Ozu's foot heals up? Do they all wind up in the same club together the next year of college? Ozu kept coming over to Watashi's place unannounced during the series; does Watashi actually invite Ozu over now, or is he the one who just shows up at Ozu's place sometimes? What is Ozu's POV of Watashi after the end of the series? That was one hell of an introduction to the guy, after all! Does he warm up to him?

Or instead of post-canon stuff, branching off from canon stuff is good, too! Feel free to veer off into AUs for those, if you like! What would happen if Watashi hadn't rewound in the first place after being chucked off the bridge? What if he hadn't rewound when things went bad with the movie circle? What if he (and Akashi?) had confronted Ozu after that stuff with the cycling assocation? What if he hadn't decided being Higuchi's successor (with Ozu being Jougasaki's successor, and Akashi being completely friendly with him!) was a horrible fate? What if he and Ozu had just legitimately had to flee the Honwaka cult? What if he does ask Akashi out after she apologizes for the love letter prank, and he or the two of them decide to prank Ozu in return? There's a lot of stuff you can do!

AU PROMPTS: For Ozu/Watashi... Come up with something based on that movie clip in Episode 2! What if he and Ozu actually filmed it; was the entire thing actually on-script? (Ozu removed his dang wig, so maybe not!) Did pre-written lines come out more honest than either of them (or just Watashi) meant them to?

What if Ozu (and Akashi?) remember Watashi before Watashi remembering them in the last timeline? Would they try to go to his room to meet him? Would they wind up in the weird tatami maze? I'd love to see him have his epiphany with them right there with him!

Also, just other alternate timelines and other clubs! What could there be? Swimming, hiking, tea ceremony, dancing, gaming, debate, ikebana, archery, photography, calligraphy, a rock band circle? Does Watashi reset any of these timelines, or does he manage to realize shit enough for something to actually happen and a lesson to be learned?

SEASONAL PROMPTS: I would love seasonal stuff that's also very local-feeling; let me feel like I'm right there in Kyoto! What is the season like for them? Is it still warm or unseasonably cool? What are the trees doing? What's going on with their classes? Alternately, do they do anything for Halloween? I love matching costumes, that's my entire jam, but just costumes in general are great; maybe one or two of them actually put effort into their costumes and one or two of them are lazy or casual with it? Maybe only one of them dresses up! Maybe they kinda make fun of people who dress up or go around and do Halloween pranks. Maybe they take the excuse to sit around and watch horror movies, or try to make one themselves? Or just write any of the above prompts with seasonal atmosphere; I love things like that!

TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE
Raoul/Tracks
I've watched every single episode of The Transformers that involves Tracks, as well as both the episodes Raoul was in. Please stick to the G1 cartoon rather than using even the Generation One comics, as I'm not familiar with those!

For having only two episodes together these two are absolutely great, and I love how quickly they become tight as hell despite a frankly bad first impression. Tracks's interest in Earth and disinterest in how the Autobots only seem to want to talk about the war is great, and I get the impression he loves showing off specifically in front of humans because he's more than a little bit xeno. Raoul finding what he thinks is a crashed car that he can fix up and use to pay his debts to sincerely scary-ass dudes and winding up with an alien robot he risks his own health to fix up and keep away from said dudes is also great! These two have brass, walking right up into a Decepticon trap to see what's going on, and I love that they manage to save each others' lives several times over. I also love how Tracks hooks Raoul up with a better job helping fix the other cars by the end of the first episode. And the second episode with the dancing and Tracks even snapping along to the music is really cute!

I really like how these two have each others' backs and obviously enjoy each others' company, and their banter never seems mean-spirited; they're not a slap-slap-kiss pair, they're just kinda jokingly snarky! I like the idea of them sharing cultural things, because while they're not 100% an opposites-attract pairing they definitely have their differences and their people are pretty different. They both seem pretty into that, though!

GENERAL PROMPTS: Speaking of which, maybe they can share things with each other! Tracks telling Raoul about some cultural Cybertronian stuff or introducing him to a specific kind of music or something, or Raoul sharing a favorite band or movie or something with him! Them talking about different kinds of dating between their species and settling on something that works for both of them! Or since Tracks is obviously into detectiving, maybe he and Raoul go poke their noses into something... Or maybe Raoul shows Tracks some graffiti he's proud of or Tracks watches him do a new one! Maybe Tracks takes Raoul out driving or racing or flying or some mix of the three! Maybe there's H/C, maybe Tracks gets Raoul to a doctor or Raoul gets walked through (or has already learned?) how to do some first aid on a Cybertronian. What if Tracks survives the war?

SPOOKY PROMPTS: Transformers can have some spooky shit sometimes! What if there's some dangerous and creepy situation that Tracks and/or Raoul has to stop? Ghosts or cosmic rust or something even stranger than the Cybertronians from space? Or from somewhere on Earth? Basically just gimme some horror stuff, maybe even a horror mystery, so long as it ends okay then get as creepy and dangerous as you like!

SEASONAL PROMPTS: As always, any of the above stuff with a heavily seasonal atmosphere would be great! What would Tracks appreciate or maybe not like about the Earth season(s)? Outside of that, maybe some Halloween stuff? Raoul can introduce the holiday to Tracks, maybe? Would Tracks be into any parts of it? What would they do to celebrate it? Alternately, going very seasonal but in a Cybertronian way would count for this, I think! Do the Cybertronians have a similar holiday or anything equivalent? You could do some alien worldbuilding here and I'd eat it up! Or maybe it's just starting to get cooler out (or hotter?) and Tracks lets Raoul hang out inside him with the heat/air conditioning cranked up?

SMUT LIKES: Just using anything from my general likes would be great! Otherwise, I prefer "sticky" style sex with genitalia of some sort (though feel free to go xeno with it!) to "holoforms" or plug-n-play or sparksex, but I do like the idea of seeing or touching sparks being intimate and a potential erogenous zone! But seriously, one's a human and one's a giant robot, xeno and sizeplay is great! Also car form play can be hot, like praise kink while a car, or stroking his interior, or Tracks being kinda turned on by actually being driven, or even using, like, a sex toy on Tracks while he's in car form. VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE - BLOODLINES
Knox Harrington/Bertram Tung
I've played through the entire game multiple times! I am also familiar with the 2nd Edition VTM books and with the patch plus, but that's all, and I would honestly prefer that things that aren't in the actual base game itself not be taken as automatic canon. (I'd like to particularly request blood bonds not be mentioned and agonizing-rather-than-erotic Nosferatu bites not be a thing.)

This ship didn't quite hit me like a wrecking ball while I was playing; in fact, it grew on me more and more the more I thought about it, until it eventually became my overpowering OTP for the game. We never actually see them interact in canon (we barely see anyone interact in canon, unfortunately), but I love all the little details it's possible to pick up about their relationship.

I love that Knox is faking airheadedness and clumsiness while obviously not faking major other parts of his personality, like his open friendliness and enthusiasm. I love that he was a bounty hunter for Kilpatrick before he became Tung's ghoul. I love that he says Tung's face scared the shit out of him when he first saw him but affectionately calls him "nasty dude" now. And I love that he and Tung are working together to get you to do them a favor.

And to back up to the "nasty dude" thing for a second, I love how, if you call him that as a Malkavian, he takes obvious offense, but once it's clear that you picked it up from Knox, he completely relaxes about it and is like "oh okay yeah that's fine." It's obviously not an insult coming from Knox and he doesn't mind it from him! I also love how it's only even before the Sabbat warehouse that he insults Knox, implying if you're a Malkavian that there's "only one brain cell between you"... but after the warehouse he admits to you that he knew you'd meet with Knox, that he arranged it, and that the whole thing was a setup on both their parts, outright calling Knox a "pretty good actor" fondly (and also approvingly states that he "tracks like a bloodhound"). Rather than actually insulting Knox, he seems pretty open with praise for his ghoul when they're not both kinda rooking you. (I also bet Knox was lying about him having disappeared and not being able to get in touch with him, though admittedly I have no proof about that one.)

I also love how mild and patient Tung is in general, how proud of the Nosferatu he is, and how he has clan and sect biases but seems to know it and try to be open-minded and even-handed and fair even with said biases. He's a great source of information to the fledgling, so I bet he'd be a good regnant to a ghoul. I also really like the idea that he's eventually planning to Embrace Knox (and that Knox is completely down for that!), which is another reason to be a good teacher -- and it would also mean he thinks Knox is worthy to become a Nosferatu, which is a pretty high compliment! And where Tung seems willing to praise, Knox also seems to really look up to him in a lot of ways, so I bet he'd love compliments and praise, and would also appreciate being trusted with information and teachings. And if he's a good bounty hunter, I bet he soaks up information. It just seems like they could really click with each other while interacting and could benefit one another!

Also, finally, I want to note that when Tung talks about Knox one thing he mentions is that Knox is enthusiastic, and the way he says that really makes me think Knox a)maybe surprised him by how quickly he was into the idea of the whole being a ghoul, eventually being a vampire, even specifically being a Nosferatu thing, and b)is absolutely 100% into Tung, "nasty dude" comment or not, and has not been unclear about that.

GENERAL PROMPTS: How did they first meet? I'm not into Tung threatening or coercing Knox into becoming a ghoul or anything like that; like I said, I like the idea that while terrified when he first saw Tung, it didn't actually take Knox long to come around, to Tung's surprise. ("Enthusiastic.") I love the idea that Knox's bounty hunting skills got Tung's attention and convinced him that Knox would make a great ghoul. Did Knox stumble upon something he shouldn't have, that maybe other bounty hunters wouldn't have found? Did Knox manage to track Tung even when Tung was trying not to be?

How often do they meet? Does Knox ever guard Tung's base during daylight if some shit is going down? What would a teaching session be like, with Tung explaining Kindred things (the clans, the sects, the Traditions) or training Knox in certain things like navigating the sewer or tracking someone invisible or even using low-level Nosferatu disciplines? How would the idea of Knox actually being Embraced eventually come up? Would Tung have mentioned it as a possibility from the start, would he casually mention it at some point to see how Knox reacted, would Knox himself ask after it? I love the idea of Knox being really into Tung's voice, but also being into physical things about him even if, yes, he is "nasty"; there's a lot compelling there too, his eyes and strength and claws and teeth and fashion sense and bold piercings. Not to mention his confidence!

What jobs does Tung trust Knox with? Keeping an eye on a Kuei-Jin spy was a big deal things to trust him with, and he obviously wasn't just abandoning Knox to it, since they were both working together to try to get the fledgling to take care of the problem. What else has Tung asked Knox to do? Does he ever watch Knox work and give him advice on how to improve afterwards? Has Knox ever found key information from him or exceeded expectations?

Also, I didn't prompt Spooky, but I love hurt/comfort stuff. Wow. Hurt Kindred can knit themselves back together, but it can sometimes be slow going and Tung getting legit hurt somehow might shake Knox up as much as (or more than) Tung. Blood can help Kindred heal. Also, Kindred blood can help ghouls heal; what if something happens to Knox? I can't imagine Tung not helping, and like to imagine him being protective.

Finally, I would love an actual Embrace fic, or something set post-canon where Knox has been Embraced already. Knoxferatu. Alternately, while I'd rather most tabletop stuff not be brought in, apparently Las Vegas is weird enough that Nosferatu like Geoffrey Montrose can just walk around the streets? So what if Tung takes Knox on a trip there, either before or after Knox has been Embraced?

SEASONAL PROMPTS: Hey, what's another scenario where Nosferatu might actually be able to walk around the streets or be seen in clubs? Halloween! Seasonal fic is a great excuse for Tung to be with Knox in public, and I am so there for that. Also, Knox has a goddamn vampire patch on his jacket, he's a dork, I bet he loves the spooky Halloween season. Then again, are Hunters emboldened by Halloween, and/or do they keep an even closer eye on the streets? Tung has a computer; does he humor Knox by pirating a horror movie and actually watching with him? Did Tung see any interesting historical stuff re: the Halloween season that he can tell Knox about? (Actually, I bet he has fascinating historical stuff he could talk about in general, goddamn.) All else fails, you could take any of the above prompts and just have them absolutely drip in seasonal atmosphere! I might not be quite as good at coming up with prompts for this one, but trust me, just making a fic very seasonal with the details and atmosphere would make me very happy.

I just get that overwhelming feeling from all of the Nosferatu, tbh. I also like the exchange of power that implies! Also, the Asylum is kind of a wild place and nobody blinks at Nosferatu in there. What about some play there, or in a similarly safe sex club? Biting kink is also intensely hot, whether that's the erotic-feeling Kiss or Knox biting at Tung instead.
